After-School Drama Club

After-school classes at GVT inspire creativity, confidence, and a sense of community through the exploration of theatre skills. Led by professional teaching artists, our weekly classes provide a fun, exciting, and engaging experience for students ages 5-18. Class offerings include creative dramatics, theatre games, scene study, monologue work, voice, movement, stage combat, and much more! We also offer a year-long conservatory program for teens who are dedicated to studying the techniques of theatre.

The mission of the Education programs at Greenbrier Valley Theatre is to ignite the imagination of students, to encourage students to investigate the world around them through the creative process, to engage students fully, to empower students to realize their creative potential, to increase self-confidence and self-awareness, and to build life skills of communication and cooperation.
