Peter Pan and Tinkerbell take the children to magical Neverland where an ongoing battle between the evil Pirate Captain Hook and Peter Pan's Lost Boys is taking place. From the cozy comfort of a nursery bedtime to the fantastical world of mermaid lagoons and pirate ships, this magical journey of the imagination is filled with humor and the longing to remain a child.

Tweens Class: MATILDA by Roald Dahl
Matilda is an extraordinary girl, a child of wondrous intelligence. Sadly, her neglectful parents Harry and Zinnia Wormwood, are too wrapped up in their own lives to even notice that their daughter is a budding genius, in love with books and with learning. When the Wormwoods finally grant Matilda's wish to attend school, they bundle her off to Crunchem Hall, a bleak brick prison where students cower before Principal Agatha Trunchbull. Amid Crunchem's darkness, Matilda finds a single light in warm-hearted Miss Honey, the first-grade teacher who recognizes the girl's remarkable skills--including a very special talent that allows the spirited girl to turn the tables on the wicked grown-ups in her world. This is a powerful tale of learning to trust and believe in yourself.
Thursday, May 3, and Friday, May 4 at 7:00 pm
OZMA OF OZ: A TALE OF TIME by Suzan Zeder
This classic tale is woven into a timely new story which will delight audiences of all ages. This modern fantasy explores the relationship between a now teen-age Dorothy and her aging Uncle Henry. Dorothy reluctantly accompanies her eccentric uncle on his life-long dream voyage to Australia. They argue during a violent storm and are both blown off the boat to Oz, a land where there is no time. Unwittingly, they activate Tic Toc and time begins in Oz. Their adventures lead them to Bill, a giant wise-cracking chicken, the wacky Wheelers, the vain and vicious Langwidere and, finally, to the superstrong, wonderfully wise Ozma. Ozma rescues Uncle Henry from the lair of the volcanic gnome king and teaches Dorothy to look beyond Uncle Henry's outward signs of aging to recognize his true competence, energy and worth.
Fri., April 27, and Sat., April 28 at 7:00 pm
ALICE IN WONDERLAND
Chasing after the White Rabbit, Alice falls down the rabbit hole into the topsy-turvy alternate world of Wonderland. She grows and shrinks after following the instructions of a haughty caterpillar, attends a tea party in the garden of the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, stands in awe as the Cheshire Cat spouts philosophy, and closes out her day with a hectic croquet game at the home of the Red Queen. Lively Storytellers, a protective Pigeon, a little Dormouse, and a busy Gardener enhance this adaptation by Kathryn Schultz Miller of Lewis Carolls story, Alice in Wonderland.
